Biking around Keflavic, Iceland

Ahhhhh... What a BEAUTIFUL day in Keflavic, Iceland today! Danny & I couldn't resist taking our bikes out on a little adventure... and boy did we see LOTS!!


Mmmmm... What's the Catch of the Day?? (REAL Icelandic fisherman... So nice! And easy to look at! :-)

Here it is, my favorite... the Atlantic ocean line right down from the pier! Gorgeous!

Danny is my biking buddy for life! He loves to take pictures as much as I do! The mountain bikes that the hotel provides for us are SO great... He had a small problem with his handlebars, though and you can kind of tell in this picture! They flipped upside down! Oops! Maybe we were 'roughin' it' too hard on all the hills and bumps to the top??

It's a long way down if you fall... (This was RIGHT over the edge where we were standing!)

The water by this pier was so calm! Hard to believe it's the ocean...

This old run down boat was kind of spooky! We tried climbing in it and it smelled so awful! The wood was all rotted and water-logged. I wonder how many 'tales' are told about this boat somewhere and by whom?? How did it end up here in Iceland from Pompano Beach, FL??

These boats were just amazing. SO HUGE... You can barely even tell that Danny was standing in front of it! It was dripping water... we wondered if it was just pulled out of the water or not?

'Ay, ay Captain!' HUGE ladder... SCARY. I stepped down immediately and gripped on for life!

Cute little residential street! See... I told you there's lots of reds, yellows, and blues on the houses!

Downtown Keflavic fountain... right down the street from Hotel Kef! What a fantastic day!

Back to Budapest tomorrow. If it's another gorgeous day like this, it's gonna be tough to leave!
